| Hair Question Hello Everyone, I am new here. I have a question about hair. I have a 22 month old yorkie who's hair seem to break around her face and feet. Any suggestions of what could help. Is it food, vitamins, or is it just Lucy? |

| It looks to me like she has a coarse coat which will break off easily and grow a lot slower. My Lacy has a silky coat but it's coarser than it should be and her hair grows really slow

| thank you for answering. Her hair does tend to be coarse. I used to feed her science diet but changed to Nutro Skin and Coat and have noticed some improvement. It does break where she rubs her face on the carpet, but that is the only scratching she is doing. |

| I would suggest a better food too, like Canidae.

| Wow - this is the first time I've heard this about making the coat grow! Does anyone else have any experience like this? Just wondering because I'll use it if it'll really make Lacy's coat grow faster. It grows so slow and I'd love to see it grow faster

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i used it for a while but didn't notice that it made morgan's coat grow. actually i didn't notice any type of change with it. I then put her on Solid Gold Seameal and her coat did grow like crazy with that. Now she's on Wholistic Canine Complete Joint Mobility and bravo wild norwegian salmon oil and i've noticed this too makes her hair grow like crazy.

| Ava, Lucy and Pebbles... Best Friends Ava thinks Lucy is perfect. She looks like a perfect best friend. because she knows how to drive and take her and Pebbles out shopping. And she doesn't even have to wear one of those pesky bows to go bye bye.

| Lucy"s hair Lucy"s hair caused many comments from people that she is not pure Yorkie. Her mom"s hair looked somewhat like hers but the dad had a beautiful coat like my little Pebbles, you know that look everyone wants their Yorkie to have. Lucy's major problem is that her sister Pebbles is the cutest 2lb.12oz beauty and erveryone gives her all the attention. That would make anyones hair fall out. So we try to love up on Lucy alot when people ignore her to reasure her she too is beautiful and loved very much. |

I keep Harley's hair shaved down because he has real kinky hair that mats up real bad, so he doesn't have the long flowing hair either. I think she is a sweetie!

| I think that she may be a red legged yorkie. I have one also and he is the sweetest. Do a search on here to learn more about red legs. I guess there isn't any info on them on the internet but several threads here in regards to this type of yorkie. |
