| ![]() I am sure he was over fed as my husband loves to give them treats, but after Ichabob was neuter he also lost some of his playfulness, as for as excrise he had 6 acres and a lab, to play with, plus we went walking every other day trying to keep my weight down. |

| ![]() I have had 3 male dogs neutered. Basil (RIP) and Spike were both done as puppies and Sugar was done at 1 1/2 yrs. Neither Basil nor Spike showed any personality changes and neither gained any weight. Sugar did seem to gain a little but he needed to. He was so bony before and now he has filled out some. He's only 3 pounds so I was thrilled with this. The only thing that changed personality wise is the marking, humping and erections stopped completely. I agree with what so many have said- I would not own an un-nuetered male. I'm not a breeder and so it would be unfair to the dog as well as me.
