| I haven't gone on vacation yet since my boyfriend got me Dunks (this was Christmas 2006). I am just sooo scared to leave him behind to go on vacation, even for just the weekend!! If we do go on a vacation, I will leave him with my sister and her husband. If they can't take care of him, my vet offers a doggie hotel. But that's my last resort. I don't want him caged up and be only let out a couple of hours a day since he runs around the house when we're at work...

| I am so willing to dogsit... I am usually home anyways and I know Dunks wouldn't mind having a playmate for the weekend or for the week...

| I have to board mine when we go out of town and the babies can't go. I have a grown son and daughter who live close by but they already have so much on their plates that I don't ask them. I have found a kennel that is great with little dogs and mine seem to do well there. I know they don't like it as much as being home but they do get playtime 4 times a day and all the dogs get turns going up front to the office to get some one on one attention. The kennel is run by all women and I know my dogs love them because when I go to pick them up they keep running between me and the women who have been taking care of them. The kennel is almost an hours drive from my house but it's worth the inconvenience to have them somewhere I'm comfortable with. I had to look at dozens of kennels before I found one that was acceptable. For any YT's in the Atlanta area needing a place to leave their baby while they go out of town. I'd be happy to help. | This year was the first year, I'd ever left mine with anyone. Found a lady, I've been knowing for a long time that dog sits for extra money. Mine did well at her home, thank God! They even slept with her! Of course though, I was worried about them. I'm going on vacation next month for 6 days, and they'll be staying with her again. Check at vets offices, some times they have a card for someone who takes care of dogs. My friend advertises in a small magazine and drops them off at vets offices. Also look on bulletin boards at Vets offices, as some advertise there too. See if they will recommend anyone. |

| We normally take them with us but if we really can't my son & girlfriend take care of them. I'm very lucky that they stay in the cottage on our property!! If I were you I'd try to find a YT member to leave them with, if I lived in the States I would

| invest in some belly bands. My newer guy was marking up the house and Belly bands were a good solution for this. Even when his training is done I will have both my boys where belly bands when i travel back home and visit my families houses. |
