| Ok, what is wrong now? So, Chloe has been on eating Caniade for a while and she always seem to enjoy it. But lately she seems to lose interest in the food, or I should say dry food in general? I switched to different one, but she only showed little interest. She seems to like eat anything else but her main meal?? What should I do? Is she feeling sick or something?? What should I do to make her eat? If I add Kong peanut butter and mix it with the dry food, then she will eat it...but I don't want to do that all the times? Any suggestions welcomed! Thanks in advance! |

| I think it is common that our spoiled furbaby lose interest in hard/kibble dog food. I usually let her get hungry so she will eat it!! I do spoil her on the weekend with boiled chicken but other day she only gets dry dog food. Yup she will try pee and poop often so she can get some yummy treat!! Since Momiji doesn't have any health issue, I just let her get hungry!!! Good luck with your baby!!! |

| I have the same problem too! Mine doesn't even want to eat when he is hungry if the food is not right! Maybe he knows Mommy will cave in sooner or later.

| I am having the same problem with my yorkie. I have bought her 3 different kinds of food and she seems interested for a while, but then she loses interest. She is pregnant right now and she refuses to eat anything, but people food. I hope that this does not last passed the pregnancy. Good luck with your yorkie. If mine were not pregnant I would just make her go hungry until she eats.

| I hear you, I do give in sometime as well. Some days she hardly eats half of her breakfast and won't eat until next day. I had 2 other yorkies in the past and they did the same so I am more relaxed and don't worry about her not eating. But I give in because I want her to poop before I go to work!!! |

| I think it's because we give in ALL the time. LOL I'm sure they wouldn't let themselves starve to death.

| Baby Food? When I was Yorkie sitting for a friend, her Yorkie is elderly and decided to not eat. I couldnt ignore her not eating, since my friend had gone out of town to be with her dying sister, and we didnt know how long she would be away. I was sure she had stopped eating because she missed her mommy. I called my Vet for suggestions. He advised me to buy the small jar of baby food beef or chicken, mix one teaspoon of the food with water, to make a gravy, and pour it over her food. It worked, she immediately started to eat, and at each feeding time I would use less "gravy", until she was eating JUST her food. The things we do for our furbabies!

| Nothing worked for long with Max. He was just so picky until I was looking through the fridge to see if there was anything I could possibly add to entice him. I threw in some parmesan cheese and he's been eating every since! Now that I have the new puppy, he's eating better anyway. He wants to make wure she's not getting anything he's not getting! She's a great eater. My vet told me one of her dog's parents throws ketchup in and it works fine. She said it's not enough tomato to hurt the dog.
