Kim you are such a wonderful, unselfish person and I'm so sorry for all you've been through. You did the right thing for Zoey even though it was probably the hardest thing for you. I will be keeping my finger crossed that Diggy's sister gets to adopt her. It would be so awesome to be able to stay updated on her.

What a wonderful story. And that is the great thing about the Rescues. They are primed and ready to respond at any given moment (from personal experience). It's what they do..... they don't take time for red tape, arrangements, details. They just have people ready to drop everything and go where help is needed. There is so much and so many people to be thankful here..........

You may very well have saved Zoey's life by doing this...I have to give you credit for being a real trooper...and true Yorkie lover. Just knowing that she will have a chance to lead the life she deserves so much makes me feel better. I hope you will be okay with your decision, it was the right choice...I admire you for thinking of Zoey first...may you live a very blessed life for your unselfishness. I pray Zoey will...

Thank you so much for trusting us with your baby. She is in greats hands with Jen and Rescue Me. She will have the surgery and the time she needs to heal. I'm sure Jen would be happy to keep you posted as to her recovery which will be many weeks, this is sensitive surgery.

Again, thank you for your trust and rest assured, she is being loved while she heals.

You betcha we are. A non paying job that we work 24/7. Actually, we do get paid with lots of licks......priceless.......

YAY!!!! How ironic that the rescue person I was trying to get ahold of was already a step ahead!!! See thats why I just LOVE Carole ....I have turned to her 2 times and she has came through both times, once in advice and once as a rescue!! LOVE IT! Truely a wonderful person that just gives herself to this breed....I think your the one thats priceless Carole!!!

If you read this can you email me info on how to give a gift to your rescue?? Also could you send a list of things you need/use regularly?? Your Pm's still arent workin!! lo If I dont hear from you Ill call ya tomorrow or something I know your tired and dont wanna call again....take care!!!

I spend money every month on clothes and toys for my yorkie and have yet to donate to a rescue organization. The truth is...there but for the grace of God go I. I now plan to set aside a portion of my yorkie budget each month for donations to this and other yorkie rescue organizations.

I donated long after I was helped by a Rescue because I got to see their shining souls firsthand and after hours on the phone listening to the stories of what they are called upon to do (and do without reservation for any reason). For me, I think it's time I revived that practice too.
