Praying for you and your little one. I have to say that I am blown away by how selfless you are. We all say we would do anything to help our babies, but you are really doing it. You amaze me, and my heart goes out to you.

What is your little one's name? Did I miss it somewhere?

Thank you, but it's not true, if I were really selfless I would probably be at the pawn shop right now trying to get the money. Her name is Zoey.

Did the vet give you any idea how much the surgery would cost? Could you be jumping the gun here? (Just hoping for your sake.)

Hon, you are still trying to do your best for her, and that's what counts.

God I am in tears right now for you and Zoey. I wish I was in the position right now that I could help you out. I would do it in a heartbeat. I will keep you both in my prayers and start looking around for some on who can help.

I know this sounds gross but if her intestines are on the out side, she would be better off crated by herself until she can get the operation. The mother dogs are known to try and eat the intestines in thinking they are helping the baby. they dont know any better. make sure the crate is sterial so it dont get an infection. keep the pup and cage as clean as possible,

Her mom was trying to lick it earlier, so we do have her crated alone. She is on clean blankets inside the crate, and I have an antibiotic cream that I am appying.
I talked to the emergency vet hospital here, and told her the situation, I started asking her questions, and she told me they cant tell me anything until they see the puppy, and she informed me that there was a 96 dollar fee just for being seen there, and it didn't include anything at all. I asked her about surrendering custody, and she told me she will call me back, so now I am just waiting.

I would not use blankets because of the lent, I would use a sheet. I hope someone helps your baby soon, shes in my prayers.

Will your vet let you make payments??? Mine will if I am in a bind. Cant hurt to ask.

I never asked my vet, but he is very sweet, he might, but he don't open til Monday. The emergency vet will not take payments.

To do this you have to fill out a form online, and wait for someone to contact you. I don't know that I want to wait for them to get around to contacting me.

So sorry you have to take her there and never know what happens . Maybe they will have pitty and let you know that she is ok at least.
