| Boy or girl? I finally got up enough nerve to call a local yorkie breeder to begin my search & I thought I had my heart set on another female since my maltese is a female & she's a real sweetheart....but the breeder told me that I would just be asking for trouble to put 2 females together 'cause all they would do was fight. Do you all find this to be true or is she just telling me that 'cause all she has left is a boy? Thanks so much!! |

| I think a boy would be great! I am partial to the boys though, seems they are just so sweet and lovable!

YT 2000 Club Member | I do not have two girls and I will be getting a boy myself when my breeder has one for me, but my mother has 2 girls and they get along great. Nellee is 3 and 1/2 and Sindee is 17 months old. She had never had any fighting problems with them and she said that she would like to get another girl by this spring/summer. I am sure that others her have 2 or more of the same sex dogs and they would be of better knowledge then I , I just am going on what I hear from my mother's experience. Good luck in making up you mind on what to get. |

| My mom has 2 girls and they get along great. I have 2 boys and they get along great (minus a little jealousy skuffle every now and then) I am just partial to boys! I would go see the boy, you might just fall in love! I think its all about the dog and you connecting rather than the sex. My moms shih tzu is sooo indpendant and a bit of a witch! Her yorkiepoo is a sweetheart though and very attached and loving. My boys ADORE me, my friends think its a bit bizarre, maybe it is, I just find boys to be more affectionate!
