| Here's a link that shows the milk thistle dosages at the bottom of the page: http://www.acvs.org/AnimalOwners/Hea...malTopics/HMD/ Milk Thistle dosage: Dried herb: 15-20mg/pound once a day; concentrated or alcohol extract: 2-5 mg/pound every 8-12 hours. If you get it in capsule form, you can open it and pour over the food. If you buy in liquid form, make sure it's alcohol-free and that it does not contain magnesium stearate...

| You can give him a few drops of the vitamin e over his food in the morning or afternoon or night, it doesn't matter. The milk thistle, you might be able to open the capsule and pour the powder into some nonfat plain yogurt or unsweetened applesauce. If you get the liquid kind, you can put it on his food or in yogurt...

| The lactulose is important to give 3 times a day preferably after meals...The milk thistle you can give at any time. I like to give it in the mornings. The Vitamin E, you can give any time...Nutrical...How much are you giving? You can crush the Pill form of the milk thistle or if it's a capsule, you can open the capsule and pour the powder on yogurt like I suggested.

| Babymax, I highly recommend that you join the liver shunt group on Yahoo that Yorkieluv told you about. They have so much important info. I joined only because my Yorkie might have a little bit of a liver problem. Besides I am interested in any disease that affects Yorkies. Please join. They will be able to answer all of your questions because they are all dealing with the same thing.
