I know that all can be different but in most cases if they are socialized young with people and kids they are wonderful with strangers. Noel is skittish, but she was beaten as a pup. She don't bite though, just runs, hides or barks at strangers. Now, my Jersey we had since 10 weeks and she has been socialized. We took her and still take her with us to my son's baseball games yet she will not let anyone but our immediate family hold her. She does not bite, just tries to get away.

we have JC since he was 8 weeks old. and he WAS stepped on more then once and kicked by our neighbor once . his first trainig school teacher was very bad and we went to an other obedience school. other then that i can not think of anything else bad. he is very much loved in this family!!!.

I have had my yorkie for about 9 months. He was the sweetest little guy but then when people would visit he would go after them and bite them. It scares me very much. He won't listen to me at all. My husband is getting so upset because we can't have people over anymore, they are scared to come to our house. But he is so loving to the family only. He is neutered also. This is my first yorkie is this common?:
