| What did I find when I got home you ask???? ROCCO SCALING THE GATE LIKE A SOLDIER CLIMBING A WALL!!! I WATCHED him, place one paw strategically in a hole and the other paws in other holes and climbed up the 4ft gate (YES 4FT) in less than 10 seconds. So I thought well if I cover up the holes, with a cloth he won't be able to climb it, plus I'll add a top to it so he can't get up there even if he tries..umm you decide who won the battle here...

| By the way did I mention he's a mere 4 1/2-4 3/4 lbs??? And the gate is 4ft high?? The dark red you see is me trying to cover the gate so he can't get his paws in the hole to climb, then I put another gate on top of that so he can't climb out. Apparently it didn't detour him.

| I don't know what to do. I got home and he was wagging his tail waiting for me... I had to search the ENTIRE house to make sure he didn't get into trouble. I had to close their door today to make sure he didn't get out. What should I do??

| I had to get a baby gate with the bars, so Venus wouldn't be able to climb it. Then she walks right through it....so I had to put plexiglas over the bars! |

| I found something that works....... so far anyway. One of mine is a climber, too! I have a pen similar to yours. What I did was buy a cheap (but thick) clear plastic shower curtain. Then I cut squares to fit each section of the pen, punched some holes in it around the edges of each of them and stretched it tightly across each section and secured them with tie wraps. She can't get out now! It is slick! No footholds! I made sure it pretty much covered the whole thing so they wouldn't start chewing on an edge and tear it off. So far it works! I got the clear so they could still see out and me in (although a little distorted). For my other one who is a jumper I bought some HUGE scissor type clips at the dollar store (4 for a dollar) that stick up about 6 inches and I clipped them to the top evenly spaced all the way around. So far that has worked also. These little ones are just so smart! They will probably figure a go around eventually, but for now I have something that works!
