Which car seat do you have and how do you like it?

You're not supposed to put the car seat in the front passenger seat because an airbag deployment would most likely kill these little guys. All the seats have warnings about it, so if you can't turn off your passenger airbag, I'd go in the back seat or get a console car seat.

I dont have a car seat for boobah, she is in one of those travel cages that you can place on the seat. I wanted her to see the scenery as we travel.

The Snoozer brand sits up quite high. The regular Lookouts that fit in the car seat buckle in with your seatbelt, then there is a strap that clips around the seatbelt that has a clip to attach to a harness that you provide for your pup. The lookout seats are designed to provide tons of cushion in the event of an accident and are high up enough where they can look out the window. They come in many different fabric options and accessories as well. Shana sells them at Tinkerbell's Closet and there are many options on Ebay. Hope this helps.

What size of Snoozer console did you go with?
Is the original one or the suv one?
I drive an explorer and the suv ones measurements were way to big for my console.
I ordered the original one.

I have the original one. I've seen different weights listed on different sites for it - all the way up to 8 lbs in one. 4 lbs. seems to be the max listed most often. Sissy is just over 4 lbs and Angel is just under 5 lbs and they both fit just fine (individually) in it. The SUV console is very large. I believe it is meant for consoles of Monster trucks, not small or mid-size SUV's!!!!

Here is a photo of Sissy in her console from last year.....She will start out standing up for a quick look, then lays down. Her snout is even with the level of the bottom of the windsheild!!!!!!

I have 2 Look Out II car seats. This way both can have their own window to look out. (Max tends to be a little pushy )

Thank you Jodi for the information. I was pretty sure I had ordered the correct size. There was just no way the SUV one was going to fit!

BTW I really liked the fact that I was able to pick the color of the inside and outside material.

I just got the Luxury Lookout "My Buddy" carseat for my two and even though it is really big, it's perfect for me. If I need more room in the back seat, the carseat fits in the trunk really easily.

i have the lookout booster seat and even when sammy is all strapped in, he can still jump in and out of the seat. it is very annoying and he gets tangled up with all the jumping he does. it does not hold him tight so he cant move.
