Other Yorkie Owners Fawning Over Your Yorkie We were at a shopping place the other day, and this lady comes up to Yoda, and says, "Well aren't you the cutest thing ever. I've got one (a Yorkie) at home, but she isn't as cute as you!" I couldn't believe she said that! I mean, everyone has their own great Yorkie pictures and while everyone's Yorkie is indeed special, I bet none of you would trade yours for another Yorkie... Just funny to see a stranger so in love with Yoda.

Yoda is a cutie. Maybe she was flirting with you, lol and she doesn't even own a yorkie. Just kidding. I think all yorkies have something cute about them, but my Maddie and Rudy are tooooooooooooo cute, said like a true yorkie mom.........Cindy

| Fasteddie, we have often had that happen to us. Mostly people with large dogs at home ... makes me feel very sorry for their pets! Also, I have had some approach Toto that make me feel uncomfortable ... fortunately not that many of those! We were in PetSmart last week and met a very sad looking lady shopping for cat supplies. She just lit up at the sight of Toto and it seems, very recently, she had lost her yorkie baby of 15 yrs.! I felt so sorry for her, you could just tell that she desperately missed her. She asked lots of questions about where we found our breeder, Toto's background, etc. She even asked if she could hold Toto for a minute [our usual response has always been, "we don't let other people hold her", but for some reason we just handed her over and were glad we did!] Before we left she asked if we minded giving her contact info for Ava [our breeder], which I gladly shared with her. Who knows, Toto might some day have a relative living right here in Grand Junction!!

People always come up to the car in parking lots etc...when i have my little ones with me. I am suprised at how many want to hold one of them......it makes me nervous and I have never let anyone hold them (unless I know them) I can't imagine losing one of them, and I do feel bad when people come up to us at Petco and say my dogs are cuter or nicer than theirs. I know that you all have super cute babies and we are all partial to our own but each yorkie has such a unique personality that I could never say that someone elses dog is cuter than mine, I would feel like I was cheating

Yeah, I think most of us here would never say that to another about their Yorkie being cuter. I'd just never heard such a thing before in person! We just can't help it having the cutest Yorkies now, can we?
