Fasteddie, we have often had that happen to us. Mostly people with large dogs at home ... makes me feel very sorry for their pets!

Also, I have had some approach Toto that make me feel uncomfortable ... fortunately not that many of those!

We were in PetSmart last week and met a very sad looking lady shopping for cat supplies. She just lit up at the sight of Toto and it seems, very recently, she had lost her yorkie baby of 15 yrs.! I felt so sorry for her, you could just tell that she desperately missed her. She asked lots of questions about where we found our breeder, Toto's background, etc. She even asked if she could hold Toto for a minute [our usual response has always been, "we don't let other people hold her", but for some reason we just handed her over and were glad we did!] Before we left she asked if we minded giving her contact info for Ava [our breeder], which I gladly shared with her. Who knows, Toto might some day have a relative living right here in Grand Junction!!
