I know you're heartbroken and can't think of anything else until you know he's going to be allright. I can't fathom how sad I'd feel in your place. I'm glad we at YT can help to comfort you...know you have ALL of our sympathies and warm e-hugs! We really DO care!

I'm really glad to hear that he's being well taken care of and is receiving the kind of attention he deserves. That makes you a wonderful puppy-mom for giving him the best!

You don't need hope! Joey WILL make it and he'll be at your feet again in no time! Next thing you know, he'll be chewing on your fingers and toes. Keep your head up! Fred and I will be praying for you but I know he will be just fine. Like someone else said, these little guys are tougher than we think. My boyfriend accidently rolled over on Fred before and Fred just yelped, jumped off the bed and started running around again.

I dont have any experience with an accident such as yours, but Joey and your family are in my prayers. I think that we all need to pray that God will bring Joey through it. Riley and TJ send lots of kisses. Here is a prayer to St. Francis of Assisi, the lover of all creation, patron saint of animals and the environment, and the founder of the Franciscan Order. It is supposed to be said for 9 consecutive days.

Oh, the poor little guy. They really are quick and it can happen so easily. I am happy to hear he is responding to the medicine and will be praying for his speedy recovery.

so sorry to hear about the accident, they get underfoot so easy, I hope your boyfriend doesnt beat himself up over this. I am sure this kind of thing happens (perhaps not to this degree) every day, they get so excited to see us or to play, they run so fast its difficult to keep track of where they are with each step.

iam so sorry to hear about your puppy. I lost my puppy on saturday from pnuemonia. I know what you are going through. WE will pray for him. keep us posted.

Where are you from? I'm asking because my vet is very good with yorkies and has dealt with allot of emergencies with them like one yorkie being attacked by a racoon and one being hit by a car and both had slim chances but in her magic hands both survived and are doing very well.

Thank you so much - your story of your baby surviving makes me hold on to hope. It's so hard to be at home and around all of his toys, etc. My fiance and I left the apartment for a little bit, and it helped to breathe in some fresh air, but there is still the "black cloud" that seems to be looming over us right now. Poor, poor Joey. He is so tiny and vulnerable, but I know that he is a fighter.

I want to go visit him, because I think that it will help him to hear our voices ....my fiance does not want to go because he doesn't think he can handle it, but I need to see my baby.

I trully believe that going to see your little one will help him fight. I didn't want to see Gus at first. I wanted him to rest and recover without getting too excited. But I really feel that be seing him helped him recover so quickly. I figuard that he was in a place where he didn't know anyone and i knew he missed me. It might be really hard to see him so helpless but I think you need it just as much as he does.

Hi it's me again
I just thought if you go visit him you can bring his blanket or his fav toy. Something that will remind him of you both and home. The little kennels they stay in is so cold and unfamiliar maybe it will help him to have something familiar with him.

I know how bad you are feeling. My DD left out a full bottle of ibuprofen and my Benni chewed it opened and ate about 6,000 to 9,000 milligrams. He was vomiting gobs of blood. I rushed him to the emergency and he was in ICU for 5 days. I went to visit as much as I could and I think it helped him. He made it, he was on medication for days and lost his potty training, but I was so happy that he was home and alive he could have peed on my head for all I cared LOL. I will say prayers that you will be as lucky as I was, these little guys are a lot bigger in courage and strength than you can tell from their size.
