| Is she cold? I have had Roxy now for about 3 months. It has really been hot so of course we have the air conditioning on. I was wondering, how do you know if your dog is cold. Does she shiver? Should I buy some kind of a shirt for her? Any help would be appreciated. Also for winter walking, should I get her boots? Thanks. |

| Does she feel cold to the touch? Does she curl up and try to burrow under the covers? Does she run straight for the sunshine to warm up as soon as she goes outside? Does she shiver unexplainably? You can get boots if you're planning to walk on snow/salt. Some will wear them. Some won't take a step in them. I have never bought them for any of mine. Our climate isn't that extreme and we usually manage to find places that are clear of snow or salt.

| Its been very hot here to, I keep my girls in sun dresses thru the day, i have ca also and dont want them to get sick, the sun dresses are perfect for that the boys have more hair so they are ok and they hate to wear clothes I would get a small t-shirt just to be safe

| Is she shaking or curling up under the blankets. If not I think she's ok. When Piper & Penny are cold they go under my blankets. Then I know it's time to turn down the air. In the winter you'll probably need a jacket, and boots are a good idea. Petedge.com has them.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Hi Roxy and Roxy's mom - I'm in northern Ohio and we get that stupid lake effect snow - which is bad. It's also been very warm here so no problems until this week when it got down to the mere 50s at night and Monday morning was the first time I saw Izzy shaking...so...if she's doing that with just 50 degee weather I can only imagine how she will be with our very cold weather, so right now I'm getting her pjs, blanket and sweater made by Pocomutt Designs (yeah, Sonja). I would say get Roxy a sweater for winter and some pjs...oh I'm also going to try little boots but I'm not to hopeful on that one....:-)
