Does she feel cold to the touch? Does she curl up and try to burrow under the covers? Does she run straight for the sunshine to warm up as soon as she goes outside? Does she shiver unexplainably?

You can get boots if you're planning to walk on snow/salt. Some will wear them. Some won't take a step in them. I have never bought them for any of mine. Our climate isn't that extreme and we usually manage to find places that are clear of snow or salt.
