| If you are the one feeding, grooming and housebreaking her she will look to you as her mommy. She is very lucky to have so many people who love her and give her attention! Sorry, I don't know the answer to your soft food question.

| The dreaded "D" could be from the soft food if you are not consistently giving it to her. Yorkies can have sensitive stomachs. The Mommy thing will come--- just give it time. I once heard that girl yorkies prefer the male head of house (probably not true). Just give her love and appropriate firmness--- she'll get it |

| It is who feeds her, bathes her, plays with her, trains her, takes her to the vet (maybe not, lol) and sleeps with her. They also tend to sometimes attach to the "alpha" person in the house, but not always. Yep, the diarhea is from wet food or rich food of any kind most likely. |

| This may sound stupid but I read that you should always walk through a doorway infront of your puppy and that will help them see you as the leader. Because that is what the "Alpha dog" would do. It is simple to do. Also it said to be in charge of when or what your puppy eats, and chose when or where they sleep. The book says to be a leader in your dogs life and they will really look up to you. My puppy kindergarten teacher also told my hubby that because I feed him, clean up after him and gerenally take on the "care" part of the puppy that he'll see me as the leader. And it is so true. Keeley loves playing with my husband, but is super attatched to me. |
