The dreaded "D" could be from the soft food if you are not consistently giving it to her. Yorkies can have sensitive stomachs.
The Mommy thing will come--- just give it time. I once heard that girl yorkies prefer the male head of house (probably not true). Just give her love and appropriate firmness--- she'll get it
