| Most of the people on this site have at least 2 yorkies! I love it! I got my second pup to keep my other one company while I was at school. The only thing I regret about it is that it is harder to take them both somewhere, whereas with one, you can take him everywhere. I would feel bad taking one and not the other somewhere, and can't ever leave just one at home, or they will go nuts. But I wouldn't trade one in for the world, and I would feel worse about leaving one at home alone more. In my opinion, it just depends on how mobile you want your dogs to be! Walking them both can be a chore sometimes too, but I have the dog whisperer to thank for learning how to walk them together!

| You're going to eventually get another one anyway....I always feel bad for Max, at times like this. I'm online and he's sleeping because I'm his only buddy. I can't wait for Gracie to come! I haven't spent much getting ready for her. Two can live as cheaply as one! The only extra expenses will be the vet and doggy day care if I decide to send them once in a while. Good luck with your decision.

| I have littermates, male and female (Seth and Sasha) I do not regret it for one minute. Potty training is alittle rougher but nothing we can't handle. Goodluck and go for it.

| We are thinking we want a female yorkie in the spring. our Male Chewy is a year old. i am looking forward for a little friend for Chewy but my one concern is he is so loving... my little buddy. he follows me every where in the house. Sleeps with me, and we go for long morning walks. He loves us all and is constantly playing with us... I'm worried he will not need me or my family any more and will only want the other yorkie as his new friend. Am I nuts? Or could this happen????

| This was a big concern of mine....Brodie and I have bonded big time this week...I would hate for Brodie to reconnect to brother and leave me out in the cold.....But hubby did not think that would be an issue...He thinks that there will be a 3 way bond between them and me...and he will be left out...lol jk

| Archie and Willie are twins, and I still think getting them both was the best decision we made. I wouldn't have it any other way. Don't bother getting two of everything (except the obvious - leashes, etc.), since they will want to fight over the one. Mine have 4 Pipsqueak lions -- does that help? Nope. Now as to whether having two puppies at the same time is any harder really depends on the puppies. I don't think anyone can say for certain. I guess I've had it easy reading about some of the issues others here have had with their puppies. Mine could qualify for sainthood compared to some other's pups. No way to know if that is a result of breeding, their temperament or somewhat related to the fact that I am retired so I am home with them during the day. Mine are both extremely loving and attentive to all of their "people". The only issue they have is that they are very co-dependent, easy to understand since they have never been apart. Their trainer is trying to work on that. But my experience is that simply watching the two of them together is just the best thing ever. So I'd also say, get the brother. |

| Oh thats great! I don't think you will regret it at all!! My boys are as bonded to me as they are to each other! I think you are just going to have 2 heads to scratch and pet instead of 1! sometimes i wish I had more hands with my 2!
