| PUPPY MILL "J'amie Kennel"!!! Hey, I just found out this puppy mill news!! Check this out! MAINE ~PUPPY MILL MESS GSD 2 PUGS YOU NAME IT AND SICK Body: From: tyson Date: 23/08/2007 Veterinary crews are busy treating hundreds of animals seized from a puppy mill in Buxton. Authorities say 250 dogs were found sick, or nearly dead. Buxton P.D. says they helped the Animal Refuge League in Westbrook and the Animal Welfare Society seize the dogs from the "J'amie Kennel" Tuesday morning in Buxton and bring them in for testing. The animals are getting tested for giardia and sarcoptic mange. Both illnesses can pass from animal to human. The seizure comes after one of the puppies bought at the kennel tested positive for giardia. Buxton police say the kennel's owners, John and Heidi Frasca, are facing 17 court summons. Among them, two for animal cruelty and 14 for running an unlicensed kennel. The state says unlicensed kennels, like the J'aime Kennel, are an emerging problem nationwide. know of anyone who might have got a dog from this place take it to the vets asap bring a stool sample lots of cats and other animals were also involved

| Even if licensed dose not mean they are doing stuff right... Every 5 seconds a cat or dog is put to sleep somewhere in the USA.. Breeding just for pups to sell or cross breeding to get that inbetween group that can't aford a purebred should be stopped.. Just making pound puppy's anyone buying one is just giving them insentive to breed more of them.. I have 3 mills by me one has over 100 yorky puppys a year another one has 60 dogs in cages Yorky's, Poodles and did do Westies for a while.. anyone having more than one breed and a continues supply of pups is a mill in my book... Lack of care lack of breeding any quality... It is so sad in any dog situation like that...Just greed runs these people... I don't think anyone should be allowed to make a living breeding dogs or any other type of pet.. But that's my perfect world... |
