| I almost killed him last night.... ...OK, not really but I was soooo furious at Tucker! He peed on our bed last night just as we were about to go to sleep! When he was much smaller and had no way to get off our bed, he peed on our bed several times but once we figured out what the problem was we set it up for him so he could get up and down off the bed to go use the pee pad in our room. Ever since then he's been a pro about it, he'll even get off the bed to go and then come back to sleep some more. Well, last night we were snuggling in bed, just about to turn the TV off when my husband was like, "You've got to be kidding me!" Sure enough, Tucker peed at the foot of the bed...FOR NO REASON!!!! What the heck? We were livid. As punishment he wasn't allowed to sleep on the bed with us. It was sad to hear him crying but I was also sad that my comforter and sheets had pee all over them. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do?

| Is he still a puppy? He probably just had an accident, just like kids do sometimes. No use getting mad at him, I highly doubt he knew why he wasn't alowed on the bed all night. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Every once and awhile one of mine has done that. Just accidents usually. One time Cali did it and she had never done it before so I took her in and she had a Urinary tract infection.

| We had a pee/bed issue recently too. Hubster had been away for 2 weeks and he actually marked him the night he came home and we were all going to bed! Milo was saying, "You're mine and you're not leaving again!" We laughed and changed the bedding. |

| One of mine did it last Monday. I don't know which one it was. I had been babysitting my friends dog and I guess they just felt like since he was gone, they had to re-claim the bed as theirs. I was so mad, but I couldn't punish them because I didn't catch them doing it and I don't know which one it was for sure.

| CoCo was peeing in the bed at least once a week for several months. It wasn't like she couldn't get off the bed to go on her pee pad. We had doggie stairs and a pee pad in bedroom. But she was 'marking' the bed...claiming it and ME for her own. I even ordered some doggie diapers from GoFetch but she figured out how to rip those suckers off right away! I finally got tired of it and she no longer sleeps in the bed. She and Muffin sleep in their doggie beds on the floor next to my bed. I really miss them sleeping with me but I couldn't deal with the peeing in the bed anymore.

| Thanks ladies for all your input. He is not banished from the bed forever, just last night. We put him off the bed directly after he peed so I hope he made the connection...it wasn't like 5 minutes afterwards or anything. I understand that it could have been an accident but if it wasn't and if putting him off the bed is not the right solution then how do you teach them not to pee on the bed? I'll watch him for a UTI but he hasn't shown any other signs and hasn't had another accident. In any case we're going to let him sleep in our bed again and then talk about crate training if he pees again. Thanks again.

| He might just have had an accident. Piper's 4 years old, and every once in a while he'll just have an accident. Make sure you clean it real well to get the scent out.

| Up until a few months ago, my girls had done that a few times. ALWAYS when I had just put clean sheets and blankets on the bed, too Don't worry, he'll grow out of it.
