Thanks ladies for all your input. He is not banished from the bed forever, just last night. We put him off the bed directly after he peed so I hope he made the connection...it wasn't like 5 minutes afterwards or anything. I understand that it could have been an accident but if it wasn't and if putting him off the bed is not the right solution then how do you teach them not to pee on the bed? I'll watch him for a UTI but he hasn't shown any other signs and hasn't had another accident. In any case we're going to let him sleep in our bed again and then talk about crate training if he pees again. Thanks again. |
