| Quick Question! I'm getting ready to go to a parade..and i really want to take Baby. Do you guys think it would be too loud for her.. (with the sirens and possibly guns being shot) ??? I don't want her to be scared or for her ears to hurt. Thanks in advance! |

| Its hard to say...Mia isn't phased by loud noises or anything but I know several yorkies who freak out at stuff like that. If you think Baby doesn't mind loud noises then it should be fine, but if she's ever freaked out before from fireworks or thunder or any loud noises then I would skip it! |

| I took mine to a Christmas parade and they loved it! But there were no gun shots and sirens either.. are you sure this parade you are going to will have such loud noise? If so I would leave your baby at home, really loud sounds like that would make your baby nervous.

| Well she is not afraid of any noises besides the vaccuum. My boyfriend plays the drums and she doesn't mind those either. I just always assume there will be sirens in parades around here. There usually are. Man..I know she loves going places but i don't want to upset her. |

| She doesnt sound like a nervous yorkie so you might be just fine taking her and if she does get nervous I am sure she will be comforted in your arms. If you do decide to take her have fun and be sure to tell us how she did

| I take Sully to all outdoor concerts and festivals! We have ever since he was a tiny pup and I really do think it was good socialization for him. Of course, it's often too crowded to let him down out of my arms, but I do carry him or let him ride in my shoulder bag. He just loves all the people and the smells and the attention! And my hubby and I live for the compliments we get on him, hehe!

| I have a nervous pup but I think it would do her good to be in an enviornment like that. I don't take her out to be socialized as much as I should. I have 3 others who like to go and it's easier to let them go than to deal with her. If your Baby isn't a nervous nelly, I say take her, it can only do her good. If you have a carrier take it with you and whatever else you do make sure you have a good hold of her so she can't be stolen. Sylvia |

How did she do? Maggie doesn't mind loud noises. It's the little things that sneak up on her that she doesn't like. For example, a frog, a bug, a leaf.

| Okay well I took Baby to the parade/festival. She was fine except for the LOUD firetrucks with their sirens blaring! She only barked at 2 people ( I still wonder how she picks which people to bark at) and she had fun! I'm glad she went. |
