| Yorkie Size I think I have the largest yorkie or, someone lied and he's 1/2 rotty!! I read 20cm (a hair under 8")is the top height...well, mine is not even 6 months and he is 11". That is from the floor to the top of his back. He still looks like a yorkie, so far. And, when does their hair grow long? |

Can you post pictures of your Rotti? Don't be too concerned because there are lot's of bigger Yorkies. Buddy is one of them. Unless you wanted a Yorkie under 7lbs and was planning on breeding I wouldn't worry about it. Does he have papers? Do you no for a fact that he is all Yorkie? Do a search on here. You will see lots of larger Yorkie's and they are all prue breed. Buddy is 15lbs about 11" from floor to shoulder. | |

| They seem to come in all sizes, and I think it takes about a year for their hair to grow out.

| My Paco was sold to me as a purebred, however, no papers and I only saw the dog who was supposed to be his Dad. A smaller dog than he is now. Buyer beware. There is more to love and this one won't get lost in a snowbank this winter. |

| Chelsea is the AKA Crockpot! Last April she was 20.6 lbs, now down to 18 due to Lite food. She is just a SUPER SIZED YORKIE, and there is just MORE to love.

| I would not be too concerned, some yorkies are just larger just like with people. Bruce is 13 pounds and very tall and long for a york, but he still is one, and just more to love!

| Texas? Hi Steadmanmommy, Just curious...what part of Texas are you from? The "CROCKPOT"could use a playmate. Obviously Chelsea is a female and fixed.

| yorkie size It really is amazing to watch them grow and see how they are going to turn out, color and size....that's why I never get tired of looking at all the pictures posted on here My Bentley is up to about 16 lbs. no doubt a crock pot but as beautiful, in my eyes, as he can be. Mine are from 3 1/2 pounds to 16 pounds and the only ones who favor is Bailey and Charlie and they are both about six to seven pounds... I'd love to see a picture of your baby!!! How much does he weigh?
