Don't be too concerned because there are lot's of bigger Yorkies.
Buddy is one of them. Unless you wanted a Yorkie under 7lbs and
was planning on breeding I wouldn't worry about it. Does he have
papers? Do you no for a fact that he is all Yorkie?
Do a search on here. You will see lots of larger Yorkie's and they
are all prue breed.

I have a female Yorkie that grew bigger than suppose to... She is about 11 inches from floor to top of back and weigs right at 11 lbs... I bread her once with a 5 lb male, just for my parents to have a yorkie puppy. Thier puppies weighed 5 lb ( a female I kept), 7 lb (female I gave my best girlfriend), and 9 1/2 lb (female i gave my parents...) Its strange how they can be colored differently and the size differences from same litter. My momma dog wasn't suppose to get over 7 lbs. She is papered and still looks full blooded yorkie... She is a precious baby just a big one!
