| Very Newbie Questions 1. What do we need to bring if we're going to get him, since we have yet to go and get him cause he's just going to get his first shot on aug. 15? We're going to get him on august 20. 2. How many times a day does it need to be given nutripet when travelling? Do we need to give them nutripet when we get them? 3. How many times a day do we need to feed him, since someone told us that 3-4 times a day would be fine, is it true? Is there a schedule that we need to follow when feeding them, like every 6 hours? 4. Do they prefer warm environments or cold environments? 5. Is it ok if we switch his food from eukanuba puppy (what the owner is giving him now) to canidae all lift stages by giving 1/4canidae 3/4eukanuba on the first week, then 1/2canidae and 1/2 eukanuba on the second week, then 3/4canidae 1/4eukanuba on the third week and on the fourth week switch to canidae entirely? 6. Another thing is, would it be ok for our 2 year old shi tzu to go near them since 1 shot palang meron the yorkie if ever? 7. Lastly, is there anything missing from what we have bought for him (comb, brush, playpen, bed, bowl, water dispenser, 4 toys, doggie bag, nutripet, 1kg of eukanuba, canidae all life stages and wee wee pads)? 8. is it necessary to put sugar on water since we've heard about yorkies being hypoglycemic. and what type of sugar if ever, brown or white? Sorry for the long list of questions. I hope you guys can help me with these, I'd be really thankful for the help. Thanks. |

| 1. You might want to bring a small travel crate with a blanket in it, and a little toy. 2. Never heard of it. 3. There's various thoughts on this. Some free feed, which means there's always food available. Others feed 3 times a day. Morning, afternoon, and evening. It's up to you what you feel more comfortable with. 4. Mine live in a 74 degree climate, except when they go putting and it's steaming hot out. I don't think they would like extremely hot or cold tempatures. What you use if probaly ok. Watch if the pup is shaking you might want to make it a little warmer. If he's listless and drinking a lot of water it may be to hot. 5. You have the switching of food down pat. You might want to give the pup a week to adjust to his/her new environment before you change the food. 6. They can go near each other supervised as long as your pup has had it's shot and your other one if up to date on his/her. 7. Just the crate for crate training. 8. No sugar unless your vet tells you your baby needs some sort of supplement. Sugar isn't good for furbabies. Hope I answered your questions, and others will surely add on.

| Congratulation on your new baby. It is exciting. You seems like you got everting. Just like Yorkiekid said, crate may be good to have. (but mine doesn't use it at all....) Feeding and Nutri-cal, it is depending on the puppy, I think. My Momiji had no health issue and I often forgot to give her Nutri-cal. Good luck!! |

| Additional questions Thanks everyone We were just wondering, we're going to get the puppies tomorrow, would it be okay for the puppies to travel (around 1 hour) to our place, since they would just be getting their first shot today? And another thing, would it be okay to put some Bearing dry shampoo on them since they haven't taken a bath since birth? Thanks again |

| I'm curious how old your little furbaby is and does he or she have a name yet?
