| As far as complaining to someone about it, I think a big step is letting all of us know that she isn't a very involved breeder. She should be GLAD to hear your concern... it means you will be a good mommy! |

| No one judge me on this...I think I see where you're coming from because I'm the exact same way. She has something that you want and even though you have a lot of unanswered questions and are upset about things you don't want to make her mad for fear that you might loose your puppy. My advice would be to try and find out as much as you can without making her angry, atleast not until you get that puppy. Afterwards chop it up to a bad experience and take the lessons you learned with you. I've been in similar situations and I just kept my mouth shut until I got what I wanted. That sounds mean huh? I don't mean it like that though guys. |

| If you need to worry about making a breeder mad by asking questions, then this is the wrong breeder and the wrong puppy to get. If she's not communicating the basics then what are you not being told about possible inherent genetic problems that could lead to heartbreak down the road. You cannot just shut up until you get what you want, what are you getting? Don't mean to be rude, it's just my opinion. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | You need some REALLY goos strategy dealing with this woman - she sounds terrible and I hope things work out for you - I agree - if she doesn't start acting like she's really going to have your baby - it's almost like you should count out your deposit.... It would be such a shame if she screws you and you'll be SO let down if you make that trip ...Keep on top of her - it's too bad you don't have her vets number or anyone elses...we are at the mercy of these internet breeders and I really feel for you - I HOPE things work out for you - I really do - Sending LOTS of luck your way here....you need it ...hang in there - |

| Shirley is a wonderful person. and she has very nice well cared for dogs. Her husband does answer the phone if he is not outside caring for their dogs. if she says she is going to be there she will be there. I got my BoBo from her and love them and my baby to death.

| They are all so precious! What luck you are here to ease her mind. This has been such an ordeal. I am sure she will feel so much better.

Like I said before you read about it all the time people getting cheated out of thier money. But you still have to keep faith that there are still good people out there who are willing to do the right thing not because they have to but because it's right. I am glad that everything is ok and cleared up. And I think she is a good person and a busy person too. Now I sound like some talk show host! Thanks again everyone!

| I understand how you felt. By reading your posts I was wondering if she was a puppy broker.

| I am so happy everything is ok again. Now you have one week to enjoy the excitement of waiting on the new arrival! We do have to try to keep trusting, and so many take advantage of that - but not everyone. Can't wait til you get the new furbaby!

| Whew, good news, mzkim, it's nice that someone here has first-hand experience with the breeder. Look forward to hearing your story of taking your puppy home next! |
