| IMO, one of the ways some breeders make their puppies appear smaller is to give the correct weight BUT say the puppy is older than it actually is.. I know of it happening twice.. |

| I swear if it's not one thing it's another with this lady. I have been asking her for a newer picture of the puppy and she sends me a email saying that she will send it sometime next week! Because she is working at the Tri- State Fair all this week plus working her reg. job all day. Ok I am really mad now! What the @#%& ! Do that has to do with my puppy! Her husban stays home all day and takes care of the puppies she broke her neck to tell me this. Can't he send it or at least answer the phone? I leave next Friday morning to pick up my puppy so why send a picture at all? Is there anyone I can file a complaint with? I just feel like crying! She tells me to call before I leave to pick up the puppy. I just have a bad feeling about this. I don't want to drive 10 hrs 24 min and she's not home. I am really trying to keep faith with her but she is making it really hard. I just don't like the way she does business. I understand that she has a life too and she is busy. I just want to cry I'm so upset. I will never buy any thing else on the internet! I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my post I am just upset.

| Have you voiced your concerns to her? I think you should tell her exactly what you wrote to us in that last comment. Just tell her, look I'm paying a load of money for this puppy, if you want him sold, then you need to answer my calls/e-mails and send me the pictures I need. Sometimes you got to play hard ball to get some answers.

| I think you have every right to be upset. Yes, I am sure she has a life and is busy, but so is everybody else in the world and making sure you are comfortable and well informed should be a number one priority before and AFTER you get your pup from her. Especially since you are traveling such a distance. Did you get an accurate birth date from her? If she is unloading 6 week old pups, I would get my deposit back and start over with someone who will communicate better and is hopefully closer to home. |

| This last email I sent her I gave her my cell phone # and told her to call me while she is at the fair! I stated to her that she should have been gave me a updated picture of the puppy. I informed her that she is making me feel uneasy about not returning my emails until days later after I send them or not returning my phone calls. I copied and paste from one of her 1st emails about the date of birth (5-12-05) and the puppy being 10 weeks on the 6-26-05. I want to know how old the puppy is and whan he was born. I asked for the # to her vet too! Before I say anything else I want to say that she needs to do better than what she is doing. And she might be on the up an up but she is not helping her case. You here so many stories about people getting cheated out of the hard earn money from people posing like breeders to rip people off. They make it harder for the real breeders out there. And I don't want to put her in this group and I know that I am upset. I'll have to wait to see the email she's going to send. I hope we come to an understanding.

| The sad thing about the deposit is it is non-refundable. I just feel helpless. I hate feeling like someone has power over me. So I guess if she gets mad at my email and doesn't want to sale me the puppy that will be a deal breaker and she would have to give my deposit back. Because she will be breaking the deal not me and she can't keep both puppy and money. At least I don't think so.

| Mzkim, I can see your frustration and can understand. But don't let your mind keep working on it till you make yourself too upset. I've done that to myself soooo many times. You've put a deposit on the pup, right? Keep to your plan to pick up the pup on July 1 as you've both agreed to. There may be very good reasons why she can't take the picture, etc. We live in a rural area and believe me, the fair is a BIG deal. Maybe her hubby is camera challenged, who knows. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt on that one. E-mail her with your concerns about the age of the pup. It sounds like she is super busy now. I'm not trying to take her side, just suggesting you step back a bit. You'll feel much better. Keep us posted.

| As one of the 'real' breeders out there, I am feeling really awful on your behalf. I really try to get to know anyone who would be getting a pup from me and hope they leave here feeling that they know everything I can tell them about their new baby AND that they can continue to rely on me for support with questions/problems/celebrations throughout the life of their pup. As a perpetual optimist, I have to believe that there is someone out there that you would feel more confident about. This isn't an unfixable mistake yet. |

| You are right because if I keep at it I'm going to make my self sick. It's raining real bad here and I brought Remy to work . My boss said I could just keep the door shut in my office so I don't get a office full of people. I think I will take some me time and play with Remy (he's scared of T-Storms) and take my mind off of this.

| iheartyorkies is a much nicer person than I am. I spent all week running the boy scout pizza stand at the Kempton Fair, yeah, it is a big deal here too, and still found time to e-mail everybody who had puppy questions. and I am not superman. I don't take deposits on pups, nevermind non-refundable, and will even refund the entire sale price on a pup if it is returned (unharmed) to me in the first week. Even when everyone involved is well informed and intentioned, sometimes things might not be what was expected or the other pets in the home just aren't dealing with the new arrival or whatever. I am not saying you should make yourself sick over this situation, just that you owe it to yourself to make sure the outcome is a positive one. If you're not happy, get your money back and start over. |

| I really want this puppy and I am trying to stay possitive. I might have to face the fact that I might not get my deposit back either. But I have to have some peace with this to. This lesson in life I really paid for.

| I hope everything turns out alright mzkim. Sometimes life can become overwhelming. Also, she might not have a digital camera? Some things these days we take for granted. Do you know if she even has a cell phone? I agree you should relax, you are down to about a week, and boy does that time creep slowly when you are so excited. Please don't let this spoil the wonderful excitement of getting a new puppy.

| Her reply to my email: "My number is 573 xxx xxx. I will be home from work about 3 oclock and then go to work again at 4 pm until 9 pm. so it will be hard to call at the right time to catch me at home.. If yu want to give me your number I will try to call you to make the arrangements for him to go home with you. Shirley " That'a all nothing else. I am going to try and catch her at 3pm. I really need to talk to her. If not at 3pm I'll call at 9pm or 9:30pm. I have my mind up to talk to her this week! Wish me luck girls I'm going in!

| It would be bad enough to lose your deposit, but I think it would be worse to drive out there in anticipation of getting your puppy, and then have to drive 10+ hours home without a puppy because she isn't being completely honest with you. Good luck! Definitely get some answers. |
