| YT 500 Club Member | We have a deck out back, and we have squirrels that like to run around from the deck to the tree and to a neighbor's house. When Sophie sees it she goes "nuts". If I take her out to "catch" it, she is so excited and barking so hard that sometimes she trips on the step running up to the second part of the deck.

				   | When Cody was younger (and sometimes still) his back end would go faster than the front end. My labs were never graceful as puppies either.

				   | i think part of it is because they were bread to mousers and the fast running and aagility is what they do best, so as puppies they do all kinda of goofy things to get into shape. just like my corgie mix still tries to round up all the rest of our dogs its just part of what they do.

				   | Hi, I am previous poster and i want to say those photos are awsome! thanks for sharing those. Kirby definatly shows many of his traits of origin....such as "killing" his priase treat , no matter how tiny, before eating it. so cute...so fun.

				   | I don't see how this could be a unhealth behavior at all. I can actually see the mood on Rocco and Sissy's face, they just brighten up.and I know it sure brightens my mood right up also. I think alot of puppies seem clumbsy. Quote:

				   | I am the previous poster agian, who read about the possible unhealthyness of "circut racing",. I liked hearing what you all had to say about how you felt it was healthy and natural. This is my first dog...he is still a pup. I feel more like what you do after reading ...as he grows. Right now he has had three exhuastion attacks ( not low blood sugar)and I would think that could be part of why the vet agreed to keep our puppy not so worked up. Sounds as if he should grow out of this....and then be able to enjoy expending that energy like "you" have stated. Thanks

				   | .... and be sure that their "circuit" isn't near the top of stairs. Coby did have a mistep on one of his bank curves and nearly had a tumble.

				   | Oh...yea...Gizmo has hit the stone hearth of our fireplace and a couple of door frames. Anyone know where I can purchase a doggie helmet for zoomie time?
