Little Tatum is Getting Spayed Tomorrow :(
 

And I am a NERVOUS WRECK! :cry: I know that spaying/neutering is the most common procedure done on dogs - but that still doesn't make the worrying any easier when you are the mommy :(

I have to bring her in between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. tomorrow morning and can pick her up anywhere from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. I am so glad that they don't keep them there overnight. The vet that we go to isn't 24 hours, so since there is never anyone up there at night, they send the babies home the same day - which I am so thankful for because I did NOT want to leave her there all night long without me. I know that she will be much more comfortable here at home with us.

I am going to *TRY* my hardest to leave her up there until 5:30 tomorrow afternoon (I know it is going to be so hard because I am going to want to bring her home with me right at 2:00 when I know I can pick her up!) but I think it will be good for her to stay up there as long as possible so that they can watch her and make sure that everything is ok.

I am just so nervous and know that I will be crying my head off tomorrow when I bring her in :( Her breeder was going to come down here to be with me while she was having the surgery because she knows how nervous and scared I am, but unfortunately her husband had to have surgery today for his Cancer and then he will have to start Chemo soon (please say a prayer for him by the way) :( So, I made my hubby take off work to be with me tomorrow.

Anyway, please say a prayer for my sweet baby girl :cry: I will keep everyone updated tomorrow and let you all know how she does.

awwww prayers coming ur way mommy.....i cried all day myself when bella was getting hers done and i cried 2 hours after lol she was fine, im sure lil tatum will be too!

I know what you mean! I cry just talking or thinking about it - I am such a wuss :rolleyes: But she is my baby and I worry about her...I can't help it :(

Awwww don't worry babe, little Tate Tate will be ok. Poor little munchkin. I'm sure she'll be so happy to go home after it's all over and snuggle with her mommy.

Awwww Brooke, I know just how you feel and I'm say a prayer for you guys!!! Everything will be ok and she'll do just fine, but I know how scary it is.
I can't wait to hear your update of her being home and getting special treatment and more spoiling!!!! Keep us updated and give her a kiss for me!!!!

Oh, sweet Tate - prayers and good thoughts and love coming your way! And your way too, Brooke! So scary isn't it? Even though, as you said, it is so common - it causes such fear. Marcel goes in in Sept. and I'm already freaked, he's only 2.5 lbs. for pete's sake, too scary!

I am sure little Tantum will be in safe hands and will go through her
spading with flying colors. Keep busy tomorrow Brooke and hopefully
the time will just fly by. I know you can't help but worry, that's what
mother's do best and it will be over by this time tomorrow.

oh Brooke, I am sure everything will be alright :) but do understand your worries . . I went through that with Tiger so I know how it feels.

I prayed for Tatum last night and will do so again! I thought it was today she was getting spayed. It may be a common procedure, but it's so hard to put these little ones through it. Sending prayers and hugs your way. She will be fine. Just have faith in your vet. Lulu had hers done two months ago and she was a trooper. At eight months she was only 2 1/2 lbs. She did well so I know your baby will be great.

Hey girl, you know Tatum will be in our prayers. I'll gab with you all day on here to help take your mind off everything. We can just shop for her ok. :D I know how shopping makes you feel better. Try not to worry. She's a tough little baby and will do great. ;) Give her kisses from all of us. We love you Tate!!!

Oh, Tatum! I will say a big prayer for you! I know it is rough handing your baby over. I was trying not to start crying with Betty...and I lasted right up to the last 15 seconds. (Hugs) and XXX to Tater Bug!!

Awww I'm sorry :( I'm dreading the day Sophia and London get spayed!! London is in heat now so i have to wait, but still i am not looking forward to it, but i know it has to be done. Give her extra hugs and kisses for all of us :)

We'll be praying for Tatum and you!!! It will be over before you know it and little Tate will be herself again, but in the meantime we'll worry right along with you!!!

Brooke don't worry so much, I will be saying prayers for little Tatum and you, and I will be thinking about you both all day...sending love, kisses & hugs....the boys would love to give them to her in person but since she is far away from us you'll have to do that for them...:D please keep us updated on her...just remember you have the yt family putting their arms around you both and saying alot of prayers....:)

awwww.....I hope Tatum recovers fast and everything heals up nicely. I was so worried when my two were getting fixed too. Bella had to stay overnight and I started to cry so bad because I thought she was going to be able to come home with me.

We will send many prayers for you and your little Tatum... don't worry she will be fine and eager to be home in your arms. :)

Tatum is so tiny as well, and that is one reason I am just so scared for her :( Even if she weren't this small I'd be scared - but size does make the fear factor even greater :cry:
