Well guys, I am a HAPPY camper! :D The vet called me about 10 minutes ago and said that he just finished little Tate's spay! He said that she is just starting to wake up and open her little eyes :) :) :) She had some baby teeth pulled and they saved them for me and are going to put them in a little box. Now the nurse is trimming her nails which I asked them to do :D

He said that I can pick her up at about 2:00 if I want to, but he said that I may want to leave her up there until 5:30 just so that can closely watch her - which I was planning on doing anyway although it is going to be hard because I want her HOME! :D

Our vet is literally only about 3 minutes from my house though - so I may go up there and see her in a little while (thank's Dina for the recommendation! LOL) :p

I have to bring her in between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. tomorrow morning and can pick her up anywhere from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. I am so glad that they don't keep them there overnight. The vet that we go to isn't 24 hours, so since there is never anyone up there at night, they send the babies home the same day - which I am so thankful for because I did NOT want to leave her there all night long without me. I know that she will be much more comfortable here at home with us.

I am going to *TRY* my hardest to leave her up there until 5:30 tomorrow afternoon (I know it is going to be so hard because I am going to want to bring her home with me right at 2:00 when I know I can pick her up!) but I think it will be good for her to stay up there as long as possible so that they can watch her and make sure that everything is ok.

I am just so nervous and know that I will be crying my head off tomorrow when I bring her in :( Her breeder was going to come down here to be with me while she was having the surgery because she knows how nervous and scared I am, but unfortunately her husband had to have surgery today for his Cancer and then he will have to start Chemo soon (please say a prayer for him by the way) :( So, I made my hubby take off work to be with me tomorrow.

Anyway, please say a prayer for my sweet baby girl :cry: I will keep everyone updated tomorrow and let you all know how she does.

My hubby and I went and picked her up yesterday evening at 5:30. She was so happy to see us! She seems to be doing really well and doesn't seem to be in much pain at all surprisingly :) She is eating (although not as much as normal which is good because that's what the vet recommended - only giving her HALF of what she normally eats).

She has been walking around some and has even been chewing on her toys :) I am so very thankful that everything went well and that it is all over now and she is back home where she belongs :) I missed her so much in the short time she was gone! :(

She has to go back in 10 days to have her stitches removed. I will be so glad when that is over with and then we can officially call it DONE! :D

Thank you all again so much for your kind words and thoughts and prayers - I know I've said it a million times but I truly cannot thank you all enough! You all mean the world to me!

And thank you Dina for talking to me basically all day yesterday while she was in surgery and at the vets and keeping me calm LOL - you are a GREAT friend girl and WE LOVE YOU!! :hug: And the babies too ;) And I will return the favor and try to keep YOU calm when little miss Paisley goes in for HER spay next month ;)
