Brooke, you are not alone. I so understand how you are feeling. But when you get the call from your vet when she is done with surgery saying everything is fine, it will be such a relief!!! With all these YT prayers heading Tatums way, she will come through it like the little trooper she is!! :hearts-en AprilLove was small when she was spayed too, (still is lol), and my stomach was in knots until the moment they called, oh what a relief that was. AprilLove and Nappy are sending special puppy kisses XXX and hugs OOO for little Tate-tate!!! Prayers coming too, for a speedy recovery!!

I will say a very special prayer for Tatum for tomorrow!!! I know its hard because when my Layla had hers done I couldn't sleep the night before cause I was too worried, she had to wait until she was 3lbs and that was when she was about 4 months old, she in now 10 months and doing GREAT! My daughter is a Vet Tech at our Vet and I text her all day to check on Layla, my daughter text me pics of Layla after her surgery. I was so worried about her because she was so tiny but she came though it great, my daughter was in the surgery with her..... so that help me a little.
I will be thinking of you and Tatum tomorrow!! Let us know how things turn out. :) Gayla & Layla Bear

Brooke, I know little Tate will do just fine!! But that never stops us from worrying does it? I was a nervous wreck when I took Scamp in to just get his baby teeth pulled!! I think we will always worry about them, it is just the way we mothers are!!

Brooke, I know exactly how you feel, it may be minor for the vet but it was major for me. The vet knows I'm really protective of her and he told me she would be much better than me on surgery day and I'm sure she was because I was miserable. Prayers and good wishes to you and little Tatum

Just remember that when you first see her, she will look pretty pitiful, but they begin to improve quickly and before you know it, you won't be able to hold her down! OMG thanks so much you guys :cry: I have been bawling my head off all morning long! I am already crying just typing this :cry: I know I am such a baby but I just want my little girl home with me already and we only dropped her off an hour ago :(

And Stedman is looking EVERYWHERE for her. Her is completely LOST without her here. He has been walking all over the house looking in every corner - and when he doesn't find her, he just stands there and looks so confused and sad. He finally just layed down in her little bed :cry: He won't even eat.

I only got 3 hours sleep and so did poor little Tatum. She was SO HUNGRY last night and I felt AWFUL because I couldn't feed her anything after 12 a.m. I made sure that she had a FULL belly before that - but later on she got hungry (mommies little piggy girl!) and I couldn't give her anything :( And then THAT made me cry because I knew my baby was hungry and there was nothing I could do :( She was just pacing back and forth on the bed all night long, restless, because she wanted to go to her food dish but it wasn't there :(

She LOVES crushed ice...so this morning before we took her in I got some crushed ice from the fridge door and put it in one of their little bowls and she was just crunching away :( My poor baby!

I miss her already and it made it all the more WORSE she she started crying (literally whimpering) when I handed her to the nurse :cry: OMG - if that doesn't just rip your heart out, I don't know what does..

Ok I have to stop - I am just making myself worse. They start the spays between 10:00 and 12:00...so I will call up there at about 1:00 and check on her. UGH! I just want this day to be over already.

Thank you soooo much everyone for all of your prayers, thoughts, and support. It means THE WORLD to me! I love you guys!!! :ghug:

Oh, I know it was heartwrenching to see her hungry and scared but she will be back to herself in no time. I know when my Tatum was spayed, I was more worked up because of reading all the horror stories on YT than I would have been otherwise. Your Tatum is strong and healthy and I know will fly through it. The only issue we had was that she threw up a little in the car on the way home that evening but then she was back to herself in the morning. I know you're on pins and needles right now but I'm sending all of our love to your family!

Update!
 

Well guys, I am a HAPPY camper! :D The vet called me about 10 minutes ago and said that he just finished little Tate's spay! He said that she is just starting to wake up and open her little eyes :) :) :) She had some baby teeth pulled and they saved them for me and are going to put them in a little box. Now the nurse is trimming her nails which I asked them to do :D

He said that I can pick her up at about 2:00 if I want to, but he said that I may want to leave her up there until 5:30 just so that can closely watch her - which I was planning on doing anyway although it is going to be hard because I want her HOME! :D

Our vet is literally only about 3 minutes from my house though - so I may go up there and see her in a little while (thank's Dina for the recommendation! LOL) :p

And thank you ALL for your thoughts and prayers, and e-mails and PM's! I seriously do love you guys!! :ghug: You are THE BEST! The babies and I send tons of hugs to you all!
