The dogs can see you, but have to sleep in their own beds. The first night, they cried to get in the bedroom. It got less and less every night until the dog eventually slept in their own bed.

I had to do this. So now, I only sleep with my older yorkie and the younger one is in the bathroom where he can see me. Helps me sleep much better!

Jake sleeps with my hubby and me, and we have a queen-sized bed. Jake has to be right up against me. If I move, he moves closer. Or, he will get on my pillow and lay with his head on my shoulder. I wake up many mornings feeling stiff. The only times that he hasn't slept right next to me is when I was in the hospital a few times, and then I couldn't sleep without him! Now we're planning on getting another one....maybe we should get a bigger bed first.
