I hate hearing stories like this. It really gets to me how someone can knowlingly sell a sick pup to another person, and then take no responsibility in the end. Some people just have no soul, compassion or heart. I know how you feel because this happened to me and my girlfriend about 2 years ago. Luckily, we were refunded our money, but this was after many threats of suing. We told the breeder that we would tell everyone we knew and publish everything we could about her horrible breeding habits. She finally refunded our money.
I play hardball, so I would call up that breeder and threaten him with everything you can....have a lawyer contact him, get in contact with the local paper and write a story about his evil ways, call him everyday and just make his life a living hell. People like that deserve it

Contact Channel 13 in Houston to find out more about this breeder & what you might could do to prevent this happening again. Personally, I would also contact the BBB and any law enforcement agencies in Houston or Harris County. Good luck and please let us know what happens.

I am SO sorry you and the pup had to go through this. Horrible. If you search Jeff Dane on this site - you'll see more than a few posts. Really concerning.

Contact the media, contact animal rights agencies, go to Villette's Puppy Mill website, find a pro-bono lawyer.

Post the FACTS wherever and whenever you can - just be careful bc he may be quite litigious...imagine that.

So if the pup saw a vet within 48 hours, supposedly it is covered - but who would want a replacement pup from the same guy? :P

You also have to pay a $350 shipping fee (which is more than the advertised shipping price on the main site.) Shouldn't he pay the shipping?

I was also amazed to see them selling pups for $10,000 that looked identical to some of the "cheaper" $1300+ pups, who weighed the same.

I agree, and not to put down "kellyn", but I wonder what makes a person buy from a breeder like that when there are so many yorkies available?

I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. Those stories are always so heartbreaking.

I doubt if Jeff Dane's dogs ever see a vet. I probably gives his own shots and is idea of euthanizing could be most anything.

Kellyn, I called you personally on the phone, we spoke about the breeder. Believe me, you sound like a person that isnt going to give up on this case! Eventually, this so called breeder will get his up and comings. Oh, and I saw his website advertising all those puppies! He'll get his believe me.

I am SO SORRY to hear about what happened to your precious little baby. It is just awful and although I can't say alot here - I just want you to know that you are not the only person that has gone through this with him. I'm sure you've figured that out by now though.
