				   | I'm so worried! my poor little killer! for all of today he wont walk on his back left leg. He limps on the other 3. he doesn't act like its hurting him. but u can kinda tell that its bothering him. he runs fine, you can tell he kinda stays off of it but he still goes like lightening , but when he walks he just holds the little thing up he looks sad. im guessing i need to take him into the vet, im just worried

				   | I'd check his paw first for foreign objects, and if that looks good I'd go to the vet.

				   | Any news? It could be nothing more than a sprain if you are lucky. It could also be luxating patellas or Legg Perthes. If he keeps limping I would have the vet check for either of those. |

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Might also have injured one of his toes, which is why he only seems to favor it when he's standing still. Ozzie did this a few years ago while running up the basement stairs and getting a nail hooked in an unraveled piece of carpet. Got some pain meds for him and tried to discourage running and jumping and it took several weeks to really heal. Good luck! |
