Hiding Food?

Kingston is like Izzy and Cody too. He does this sometimes. He will get a piece of kibble and finish eating it on his bed, then goes back and forth.

Kikko does this too, his favorite place to hide food is in my comforter and pillows. he'd dig his 'hole' and then 'cover' it up with his paws and nose. its soo adoarble. this morning i look over on my bed and there's his butt hanging out of hte blanket while the rest of him searching where he just hid one of his treats.

does your puppy play with his food too? kikko just loves to have his food on the ground and pretend its something he has to attack before he eats it.

my baby does that exact same thing. when people come over and ask me what she's doing, i always say she has to kill her food before she eats it. apparently to her, it's alive. haha.

Vinnie is guilty as charged when it comes to hiding food, and cookies. However, the last time I made soup i was cutting up carrots and a piece flew on the floor, he grabbed it, i chased after him and assumed he swallowed it. Three hours later he disappeared behind the couch and i heard a crunching noise, sure enough, it was the carrot!! haha Vinnie also has to play with his food before he can eat it, i sure hope he grows out of it, eating takes hours!!! haha
