| Sibling/buddy for Chloe??? I am THINKING to get another dog (Yorkie or toy poodle) for Chloe (11 months old, Yorkie). However, bf said no.....he said one is already enough!! I just want to get another one so Chloe won't feel too lonely when we are at work?? What do you guys think?? Will it cost a lot more to have another dog?? Do you think Chloe needs another sibling/buddy to keep her company?? Any advises or suggestions are welcome!! Thanks in advance!! |

| I think two is definitely better than one. It took me awhile to get hubby to come around to the idea. Having two does double up on the expenses: twice the amount of shots, checkup visits, grooming, food, treats, fun stuff, etc. But in the long run, it's worth it. Our girls are so happy to have each other, and we love having twice the kisses! p.s. Nothing works like giving the Puppy Eyes while holding a little sweetie in your hands. |

I was worried about Penny being jealous when we brought home Riley because she really was the queen of the house, but she adjusted well. Within just a few days they would lie close together. With your Chloe being young, I think it will be an easy transition. It was a little tougher in our situation because Penny was three and has never been a hyper dog. So Riley had to learn to back off a bit, and Penny had to learn patience. Just make sure Chloe feels loved and receives equal attention if you bring a new baby home. I think you would be fine with a male. Many members here have both males and females! A lot of people like having one of each. We just happen to be a girls-only household as far as pets go. | |

| I definitely like the idea of two and am getting another one in a few months so that Jake has a playmate to run around. My hubby didn't want another one, but he agreed to let me get Lily. Unfortunately, she passed away before she was able to play with Jake, and we only had her a very short time. But, now he's very agreeable to getting another one. I think he saw that having two wasn't that hard, even with the special care that Lily required. He never wanted a yorkie in the first place, but he's crazy about Jake!

| I think it would be a great idea to get some company. Who likes being all alone. You might have to give in and get the poodle though. They are also loving adorable pets.
