Both of our girls are Yorkies. I didn't want anything but another Yorkie! To me, they are the PERFECT dog.

I was worried about Penny being jealous when we brought home Riley because she really was the queen of the house, but she adjusted well. Within just a few days they would lie close together. With your Chloe being young, I think it will be an easy transition. It was a little tougher in our situation because Penny was three and has never been a hyper dog. So Riley had to learn to back off a bit, and Penny had to learn patience. Just make sure Chloe feels loved and receives equal attention if you bring a new baby home.

I think you would be fine with a male. Many members here have both males and females! A lot of people like having one of each. We just happen to be a girls-only household as far as pets go.
