Some of these thefts go to international proportions. A pic of my parti boy, Remi, was used in a for sale scam that was a biggie. They didn't even bother to change the background which was the pegged-oak flooring in my family room. She claimed him as hers from a past litter, and said his mom was preg again with 4 puppies. You could reserve yours with a payment of $3500.00 to her PayPal acct. When friends ased for parents' pics and more of siblings, she posted a female in CANADA and a male in Germany. Siblings from the West coast.. Imagine, $14000.00 in her acct.. Luckily, a friend saw the ad and alerted me. I don't know the outcome but I do bet, someone was in a heap of legal trouble if anyone paid her..

Ok I'm a computer nerd...unfortunately, like everything else...if someone wants your pic bad enough, there's ways to get around that and still copy the pic even if the pics you have stored on the web pages are in a secure folder. It's just takes 2 more extra steps instead of the easy right-click. (Most people don't realize that pics are downloaded in a temp folder so that the pages download faster, etc. So once you access a webpage, the pics are temporarily stored on your hard drive. It's just a matter of finding it.)

Watermarks are easy to remove especially if they are on a corner of the pic, unfortunately the best way is to splash the watermark across the pic so that it would be obvious and undesirable for anyone to want to take it.

Wanted people to reserve a puppy that was not born yet but knew her mom was gonna have 4 puppies and you could reserve one for only $3500.00 payable thru Paypal.That ended up being a really ugly situation cause she also posted foreign dogs as parents. They had never even been in this country..I think there are no foolproof ways of protecting personal pictures..

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!! I'd FREAK!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully that ended with them having to remove your Biewers pictures and being penalized!!

I can't believe the things people would do for money, I just can't imagine paying so much moeny for a pup and it's not even what they advertise
