| Zack is skinny too! (16 weeks - 4.5 lbs) I wonder if Yorkies have different body types like people? He is very healthy, active and eats pretty good. I wish he would get alittle more meat on his bones. Weenie dog...that's funny...but I was starting to wonder myself!

I wouldn't worry about it if the vet doesn't think she is under-weight. If she has energy then she is obviously getting enough nutrition to keep her going (and going fast for that matter). Being skinny will actually be a good thing when she gets older b/c they are prone to hip/knee problems and extra weight just makes that worse. ps. I can feel every rib and piece of spine on Sydney too...but the vet said that she is the perfect weight. | |

| Chai has a high metabolism also , but Hefner is a little chub. She eats twice as much as him too bu tshe is twice as active. He sleeps more. I can feel the ridge of her back bone so i would be interested in any fattening up for her as well. |
