Jessica,
I wouldn't worry about it if the vet doesn't think she is under-weight. If she has energy then she is obviously getting enough nutrition to keep her going (and going fast for that matter). Being skinny will actually be a good thing when she gets older b/c they are prone to hip/knee problems and extra weight just makes that worse.
ps. I can feel every rib and piece of spine on Sydney too...but the vet said that she is the perfect weight.
