Leg warmers what a great idea. I tried boots on my little one and her legs are so skinny that they kept falling off. I bet these would stay on and would be great in the wintertime with all the snow. Of course the bottoms would have to waterproof. If you do start making them let me know I am definitely interested. j

leg warmers. with fleece insides, a nice "trendy" fabric of your choice on the outside, some "no skid" stuff on the bottom, and elastic at the top to help keep them snug at the top. I would think the "leg warmers" would be more for inside the house or while "out and about"...but not so much for in the snow or anything like that. just for keeping "warm". but this could be a great idea....making them completely washable so that if they do happen to get a little dirty while "out and about", you can wash them and use them again ![]() oh boy...I see myself being very busy getting ready for this winter

| I love it and I bet they would stay on my little one. Her poor little feet get so cold in the snow but she loves to be outside playing in it. I am not sure about the elastic at the top, would that cut off circulation as they would have to be pretty tight. I loved the velcro idea I wonder if that would work as well on the winter ones. Let me know if you make a prototype I am dying to see what they would look like. thanks, j

| I will let you know how the elastic works out. I am planning on making one for maggie with elastic. I think we could make it "not so tight". it will still have the velcro along the side but the elastic at the top will just make it snug enough. but if it is too tight, i obviously won't make anymore like that the velcro seems to work pretty good, but it does seem to need something a little extra. it works fine with the cast underneath it..but not so sure how it would work without the cast, unless it had something to help keep it up. I'll keep working on it and let you know what I come up with this could be so much fun!!! I love making stuff.

| I did think about mastering this idea for the cast cover and trying to sell it to local vets and such...I know as soon as maggie got her cast, the first thing I asked the vet was "do you have anything I can cover it with to keep it clean???" they didn't but they told me a sock would work. well...I hated the sock on it. it looked horrible AND didn't stay on too good. and since maggie goes EVERYWHERE with me, I wanted her to have something a little more "stylish" than a sock
