Ok, So I got by with it. They even loved her and everyone said "look at that cute dog." BUt there was this one man, who asked what type of dog it was and I said a Yorkie, and he said "I have a chichua (spelling,lol) and a maltise mix and it looks just like your dog." I wanted to scream at him!!! And yell you IDIOT!

Oh i know...it is a little annoying isnt it...my Heidi would get mistaken for a Chi all the time!

I take mine t several stores around town. Almost any place that does NOT sell food that is prepared. THe Dollar Tree people just love him. and so does a few others, HOWEVER our Wal-mart won't let them in at all...even in a carrier. I think its Company wide.
Good for those stores that do. My gas bill is high leaving the AC in the car running just to get a gallon of milk.

I bet, I went to the fabric store yesterday, and I left Aubrey in the car, with the windows cracked and he was HOT.

I like when people come up to pet and admire Kalina, I think it really helps with socializing her. So far she seems to love everyone. I wouldn't, of course, let someone who seems "strange" interact with her, but those people are few and far between IMO.

I have gotten away with many stores, again, not any that serve food. Walmart I did get Mugzy in one time by saying he was a seeing eye dog...hahaha , but I got stopped by like 3 people, and won't take him there again. The Dollar Store in my area will not let him in though.

The dollar store I go to as well as family dollar has no problem with me bringing nathan in..i just carrier all 3 lbs of him in my arm, with a cute outfit on ... lol how could they resist!!!! Now we have gotten into Walmart a couple of times with his carrier but he isn't really carrier friendly so it depends on HIS mood....
