I do prefer purebred yorkies but that is because I love the standard show dog look and the well known backround. But I love mixes just as much!! Trixie is a yorkiepoo and I wouldn't trade her for the world, I love every bit of her!! I think that was incredibly rude of her to be like that. I see any dog and I go nuts over them, doesn't matter if they are purebred or not. But some people are like that I guess.:( Oh and your baby is a cutie!! |
I am not bothered by mix breeds . Dogs no matter the breeds or mixes are so loyal to peoples they love . For me true love don't have a standard . |
I love all dogs. I do hate it though when someone is paying money for a full bred and the breeder is passing off a mix as a full bred |
Please don't pay attention to those kind of people, they don't know what they are saying. You're baby is beautiful, who cares if has a 5%(or less?) Schnauzer in his blood! what's important is that you have an adorable loveable furbaby :) |
He's your baby and you love him! This was a rude person. You can always tell these snobs that he's a shnorkie, the latest designer dog, and that he cost $4,000! |

Its just pure snobbery and maybe jealousy? As well as Yorkies i also love the Chihuahua and would have considered a Chorkie if i had found one suitable. Don't let anyone upset you, you have a beautiful little dog there! ;) |
I never realized how many dog snobs there are out there! Noone that I know would turn up their nose at ANY animal. Your pup looks adorable, although we need some updated pics! Ya know both my boys are pure breed and neither one of them would ever win 1st place in a show. One is too big and the other has the wrong type of fur, is now fixed and was born with a heart murmur. As long as you LOVE your puppy and are happy, then you and him are the luckiest 2 creatures! |
Yes and no. No, in the sense that I think all dogs are cute. But yes in the sense that I don't get why one would pay so much money for a mutt when there are so many in pounds. |
I'm often asked if Jeanie "is" purebred, and she is, but I see that it matters to some. For me, she is adorable and wonderful. And yes, I guess she doesn't look as some do....with the floppy ears and really thick cotton coat. But the registration papers say she is purebred, so I must believe them, and rejoice in her subtle differences that make her really cute :) |
you got ur puppy knowing it was a mix...who cares what others think! I have a friend, right after we got nugget, she begged her mom to get a yorkie...they made their way to the pet store...and purchased an $1000 "yorkie"..i took one look at it and could tell it was definately part schnauzer...in that case i would be extremely pissed...nuggets a teapot but we only paid $200...met his ma and pa sister from a previous litter and grandpa...i wouldnt trade him for the world... |
