I just looked at Winston and thought I'd be so sad without a Yorkie to love...But I guess I would have a Maltese.

Great danes are my big dog passion. But I would want a small dog too, so probably a maltese

If i were going to get a small breed it would be a Maltese and if I were going to get a large breed it would be either a pit bull or a golden retriever (talk about night and day eh?) lol..

I would either want a French Bulldog, a Mastiff or a Golden Retriever. My boyfriend wants a bulldog really bad so we might get one soon.

I don't even think I'd want to be here, lol.

Honestly though, I would probably have a Bichon Frise, or a Maltese

OR - maybe even a Silky since they look so much like the Yorkie

Definitely a toy poodle, I have 2 poodles now in addition to my yorkie and they are wonderful, intelligent and constant companions.

I love Australian Shepherds, they are wonderful dogs. I also love rotties and pit bulls, and I've always wanted a Newfoundland.

Just off the top of my head...a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever or a Westie. However, I can't picture all of the breeds right now and there's also nothing wrong with a good ol' lovable mutt!

I'm just a dog person...can you tell?

I saw a part retriever and poodle
OH MY GOODNESS!!! was he drop dead beautiful.
no shedding, large, 75 lbs and just a great big shinning black baby
He was only 9 months also.
I asked if this was a mistake in breeding She said no it is for people that wants big dogs that do not shed
He WAS REMARKABLE..watch out pet world new breed comeing
I think I might just get one of those.
but all 5 of my little ones do not even wieght that much

These have been around for a while now. A Lab/Poodle is called a "Labradoodle" and a Golden/Poodle is called a "Goldendoodle". But it's basically a 50/50 chance of getting a non-shedding dog since the retrievers do shed and the poodle does not...there is a range of coat types this mix can have. I have heard of several people that had to rehome these mixes because they ended up shedding and weren't hypoallergenic. We have on lab/poodle mix that comes in to be groomed that has a coat like a lab but longer and more wavy. Then we had another lab/poodle and a golden/poodle that came in and had hair more like a poodle.

I love labradoodles and goldendoodles, but would not contribute to the designer mixes anymore so they are out for me

If yorkies were no longer and I had no allergies, I would LOVE a golden. I also love pomeranians, but DH is not a fan.
