| Pet Insurance I looked into pet insurance for my two money pits. The premium goes up as they get older. It also doesn't cover pre-existing conditions. I lost my little poodle, Bridget, about 10 years ago and spent about $2500 in the final three months of her life. I figured the cost of pet insurance premiums over the length of her life (11 years) and found it to be even more expensive. So I guess the best thing to do is start saving for their old age when they are puppies!! I am playing catch-up now. |

| Pet insurance The latest one I was investigating was the ASPCA insurance. I decided I probably spend less than what the premiums are even with my major expenses and my vet is not inexpensive. |
