| Awww... I'm sorry she broke her leg. It's traumatizing for the whole family, isn't it? How big is Maggie? Hoping she will heal quickly. |

she is NOT happy about this cast on her leg she is staying close to me and really not wanting to walk around much. She went out to potty this morning, came in the door and just sat there looking at me. I walked over to her and she started wagging her tail...she wanted me to carry her it is hard not having her drivers side leg

| Sorry to hear about Maggie pepe mint--Good morning--I had company most of yesterday and did not get on the computer much. I just saw this thread. Ya had quite the adventure yesterday. I am so sorry to hear about little Maggie. I pray she gets better soon and the 4 weeks to recovery goes smoothly--for you and her! I think our little Oscar may be our "accident-prone" baby. He has already had 3 accidents--none of which were as bad as your baby's broken leg, but it sure is scary--for mom and for the baby! Hope your daughter is feeling better this morning, too! It is beautiful weather in Mississippi today. Hope yours is the same!

| Maggie is in our thoughts and prayers. Glad that she is home with you. It sounds like she is feeling a little better. And from your post it sounds like you are in better spirits. I hope the same is true for your daughter. I am sure that Maggie will be zooming around the house in no time, once she figures out how to navigate with 3 legs. But for now mommy can carry her wherever she needs to go! Please keep us posted on Maggie's recovery. Take care

| thanks to everyone. you are all very sweet. I had to give her a pain pill this morning she is just whimpering a lot. she really doesn't know how to get around with this big cast on her leg I have put a sock over it so that when she goes outside, it doesn't get wet, and also to keep her from licking it. hopefully the pain will get better soon...it is killing me to see her like this my dd just got up and she saw maggie and the cast for the first time. I think now, she understands a little better what happened. but she seems to be ok...not down on herself like she was yesterday.

| Poor Maggie. I'm surprised she isn't trying to chew that cast off. Maybe she will learn to walk on it better when the pain stops. Hope she gets better soon. Patty |

| Bless her heart. One of my boys broke his front leg when he jumped off a chair. Vet splinted it. I now show this little guy. Can not tell he ever had a broken leg. No limb at all. So hopefully your little girl will heal the same. |

| I'm out of state and just read this thread. I'm really sorry to hear about Maggie's leg, and was relieved that it is a clean break. She should be in less-to-no pain shortly. I will be thinking about both of you! |
