| ![]() A friend of mine was complaining to me about her dog... she loves her dog to pieces but shes sooooo much work... My response to her is below, I don't know how I got into this mess! My boys mean the world to me but man oh man, can you imagine being a 'single' mother to this insanity day in and day out??? "I think we ALL feel like that with our dogs... I love my boys to PIECES! But are they GOOD dogs???? HELL NO! They pee & poop in the house EVERYDAY and they are almost 2 years old! Im up to my eyeballs fed up with it! They are jealous with each other and they are sooooo needy! I mean they follow me everywhere, whine when I don't pet or pick them up. Dexter BEGS sooooo badly sometimes I want to lock him up when I'm eating just to not have him jump up on me and beg the WHOLE time Im eating. Fletcher is afraid of EVERYTHING in the house! The AC kicking on, the water running, the dishwasher running, slapping at mosquitos (this is his newest fear, if you slap at a mosquito he goes & hides and you dont see him again all night - this is from a dog who has NEVER been hit in his life!!! i could see if he was abused and I rescued him!), they are starting to fight with each other because they are possessive of me, and now I have to watch Fletch with kids bc he does not like them and I get afraid that someday he will snap at one! Oh and they BARK BARK BARK alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the time!!! (heard enough?) not to mention, chewing holes in walls, baseboards, cabinets, eating shoes, pants, bras... Most would wonder how I do it!!! LOL The only time I wish I didnt' have them is when I want to take off for a night/weekend and I can't bc they can't come and I don't have someone to watch them. But that happens maybe 2 - 3x a year, so its not a big deal! HAHAHA - you think you have it bad! LMAO!!!! I just made them sound like little satans! Every word of that is true!" What do you think???? I still love them more than ANYTHING!

| ![]() Hi - I love my Rocky to death but he can be a challenge. He is 10 years old. Never know where he will pee even if I leave down wee wee pads. Whines, cries and scratches when he wants attention. Jumps off the bed multiple times during the night and then scrabbles to get back up. I have to stand up to eat if I really want to enjoy my food! Makes me sleep facing him. Cries when I'm in the bathtub. I have a poodle, too, and the two of them don't get along. Have to make sure I hold him when my granddaughter is there because he is jealous even though he likes her. Will dart out the front door so I have to use the back door or hold him every time I go to the front door. Wants to be held but then flips over on his back just out of reach so I have to get up to get him ........... I could go on and on. I have never had a dog like this. I love him to death though. He is the most affectionate of any of the dogs I have had - they have all been poodles. Erika |

| ![]() No, not all of them are like that. All yorkies are different. I have one like that and one who isn't. |

| ![]() Wow Celstu1 sounds like a call to Cesar Milan may be in order. Just kidding! All our pups are different and have their own little quirks, some more than others but we love them all the same.

| ![]() Ha Ha this is funny. Ellile is the same way. She poops in the house all the time. She pees in the house if she can't hold it or if shes locked up by herself. Every time someone is in the kitchen she has to see what's going on and pace to try and signal that she wants food NOW. If you are cutting something up on the counter she stands there and barks. She barks at and bites the vacuum, mop, broom and ironing board (if you are not careful trying to calm her down she will scratch you). She has to do tricks for her food but at the same time is growling. When she wants her food and you haven't told her she can go ahead and eat she will mouth your hand as a warning bite. She won't pee in the rain. She marks her territory at other people's houses and the petstore. She squirms in your arms so much in the pet store that you get scratched and can't calm her down. She is dog aggressive and growls and nips if they are bothering her. She seems to be child aggressive and has snapped at one. When people come to the door she has a fit and barks. Oh the joys of Yorkies. ![]()

Nooooo after a yr old he still pees in the living room when he feels like it. Yesterday I was outside with him and we ran into some ppl with dogs. Teddy PEED on ME!! ![]()

I know Im making them sound HORRIBLE! they are not, they are just not disciplined at all! I need to stop this behavior, or at least the worst of it, like the pee & poop in the house, but they are almost 2 years old now! Oh yeah, the chewing stopped thank god!!! ![]()

| ![]() oh you are definately DEFINATELY right!! At the end of the night when I go to bed EXHAUSTED by them (after cleaning up where they peed against the bed, on the rug and dustruffle), they both curl up with me, one beside my pillow with his head resting next to mine and the other under the covers between my legs all curled up in a TINY little warm ball and they are both sound asleep, they look like little angels! All my frustrations at them discipate, until the morning!!! HAHAHAHA
