| Is it too small...her clothes? I have a question. I bought some XS clothes from PetEdge. But they seem little too small for Chloe. Chloe is 10 months old, 6 to 6.5 lbs. I bought small size before at Meijer and it was huge on her!! I remember the size of small fits back 8-12" at Meijer which is same size at PetEdge. So, that was why I bought XS. But XS is too small...I think?? So, my question are....does anyone out there have bought clothes for his/ her babies that is similar size to Chloe?? If so, can you show me some picture?? I wanna make sure they are not too small on her!! Those clothes only cover half of her body!! Are they suppose be that short? Or I should get a bigger size? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! |

| Pet clothing size differs a lot between companies. Try going by measurements rather than size, because then they'll be sure to fit. If there aren't any measurements posted, email the site and they'll tell you. Good luck shopping!

| Well, I own the site that's in my signature below, and we specialize in clothing for dogs your size and smaller. IMO, the clothes should cover about 3/4 of the body. So it sounds a little too small. But feel free to visit my site and browse around. If you have any questions regarding size, feel free to call us at 858-272-9882.

| Lacy is 7lbs and fits perfectly in most smalls. Her measurements are a 9in neck, 14in chest (I think if I remember right), and a 10in length. Different brands run differently so we usually look at each individual brand's measurements and weight recommendation. It is always better to go by measurments (neck, chest, length) first and then the weight recommendation. These are the brands that I can think of and the size Lacy normally wears in it: Hip Doggie, Little Lily, Monkey Daze, I See Spot, Ruff Ruff and Meow, Pet Edge (SMALL). LuLu Pink, Gooby, Woof (MEDIUM - these brands run smaller). With Target clothing she either wears a X-small or Small because their clothing varies so much. I bought her a yellow/blue polo dress with pleated skirt that is a x-small and then bought the cherry dress in a small. I think dresses look better when they are longer on their body (almost to the tail). In my experience, Pet Edge dresses in Xsmall are pretty tiny and would probably be too small on a 6lb dog. But the problem with Pet Edge is they have such a big difference between their sizes! An Xsmall is too little for Lacy but a small is usually pretty loose on her (although the length is good). Part of that will depend on the individual style as well. Here are some pictures of Lacy: 1. A Hip Doggie dress size Small 2. An I See Spot dress size Small (I See Spot's dresses fit shorter than other brands - they have a shorter length) 3. A Tank by I See Spot in size Small 4. The Cherry Dress from Target size Small

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | If you put clothes on any dog and they're too tight - don't use them - it's not comfortable for the dog - same with too loose - they can get tangled up ps. lacy is TOO cute !! I love that little Tank top with the yellow trim |
