| My vet also told me to give Stella childrens Benadryl. 1ml 30 min prior to leaving and she weighs approx 4 1/2 lbs. I tried the not feeding idea before trying the Benadryl and she threw up anyway. This does not make her dopy or sleepy she just isn't miserable now. I also purchased a car seat instead of her being in her carrier and I think this helps also.
